NortheastInnovation.org is the home of the Northeast Community Innovation Corp., a 501(c)(3) non-profit with the charter of helping local communities develop local talent and grow capabilities to support early stage organizations of all types. The Goal: increase economic activity and job growth in the Northeastern United States. NCIC has a particular focus on underserved communities.
Northeast Community Innovation Corp. is run by Barry Schwimmer and Peter Propp, the leadership team from the Stamford Innovation Center. Barry and Peter have several projects underway and are running Northeast Innovation as a way to stay engaged with the Startup Community that was developed at SIC and participate in the growth of startup communities throughout our region.

Local nonprofit organizations will be under the lights at Pitch Positive, a high-energy event that will reward the best 3-minute pitch by the selected nonprofits with cash awards.
